Name and position with World Orphans.

Alan Hunt, Vice President, Church 2 Church Partnerships

What attracted you to your current position?

God opened my eyes to global missions 12 years ago on my first trip to Cuba. After several years of preparation and prayer for God’s leading, I left my corporate position of 32 years and joined the staff of World Orphans. My friendship with Paul, his invitation to me to join the staff and the clarity of James 1:27 drew me to this position.

Where do you live?

I currently live in Plano, Texas but I am moving to Castle Rock, CO at the end of June.

List three unique experiences in your life.

1. Growing up and living in Texas all my life even though I have lived in a number of different cities in the state.

2. Watching my son being a great dad and husband.

3. Standing on The Great Wall of China on New Year’s Day last year.

Other than the Bible [duh] what is the best thing you read in the last year
