Program Overview
About our work in Nicaragua
We partner with Tesoros de Dios, an organization that exists to promote the wholistic development of children with disabilities and strengthen partnerships with families, churches, and communities. Through non-residential therapy, Tesoros de Dios facilitates programs for early intervention, skills development, special education, autism, transitional care, palliative care, and vocational training. Our partnership supports outreach to local churches and communities, providing education and training on how to support, care for, and disciple these families of children with disabilities.
Funding
Funding for this program comes from church partnership. This funding provides for the role of the Outreach Director, responsible for overseeing training, developing church and community engagement, and gospel-centered discipleship for families of children with disabilities.
