All it takes is one person to catch God’s heart for the fatherless and good things begin to happen.Bryan Dietzel and his wife lead a Life Group through their church, Bent Tree Bible Fellowship. Last February, Bryan invited Alan Hunt, World Orphans VP of Advocacy, to attend one of their regular meetings to teach his group about the ministry of World Orphans so he could encourage them about living missionally and understanding God’s heart for the fatherless. Some time went by as Bryan and his group considered the best way for their group to get involved.
They decided on a World Orphans web campaign, and before long, he had a campaign page setup for the Dietzel Life Group with a goal of raising $5000. God blessed their step in faith, because in short time He provided the funding to reach their goal. They enthusiastically started another campaign with the intent of inviting other Life Groups and individuals to join them.
Bryan still believes a future partnership for his church might be possible, but for now, he is excited about what they have accomplished through their World Orphans campaign. And so are we!
